Materials
The stag beetle became the symbol and trademark of my products in 1993. When I was sewing a leather jacket, the image of a horn beetle randomly appeared on the back of the jacket. Since then I have been signing mosaics, wooden sculptures and furniture, clay products and more.
Wood
Since 1997 I have been working wood in different ways, resulting in unique furniture, sculptures, children’s toys and various artistic artefacts.
Metal
Metal and stone are very dear to me and I combine them with wood to create new creations.
Stone
I like to pick them by the rivers. I build them into wooden tables or, together with ceramics, form them into mosaics. I use the larger stones as weights to keep the wooden sculpture stable. I tie it all together with metal.
Clay
I have made a large number of sculptures out of alumina clay. I was introduced to clay while making carnival masks of Milan Kučan and Janez Janša, for which I won first place and a cash prize. It was used to buy my first three woodworking tools.
